Retail: a shop that knows its stock after every sale

A shop owner asks three questions every day: what did we sell, what is left on the shelf, and where did the cash go? When the answers live in the cashier's notebook, an Excel sheet for stock and a separate accounting program, every number arrives late and none of them match.

In Intagya ERP the point of sale, inventory and accounting run on one database, so the sale the cashier records is the same one that takes stock down and shows up in the books.

A fast cashier screen with a short learning curve

The selling screen shows products with their pictures and categories, and you can search by name or with a barcode scanner. The cashier picks the item, tax and total are worked out, then the payment method is chosen and the receipt printed. Every shift opens with a starting balance and closes with a cash count, so any difference shows up right away.

From the till to the books with no second entry

Closing a shift posts sales and cash to accounting by itself, so the accountant does not retype what the cashier recorded. Payroll and staff expenses are in the same system, so the full cost of the shop is in one report.

FAQ

Is accounting part of the system or a separate program?

Part of it. Every sector in Intagya ERP comes with accounting, employees and payroll next to its own apps.

Can I sell on credit and send quotations as well as use the point of sale?

Yes. Sales and CRM are in the same sector for shops that also sell wholesale or on credit.
