Manufacturing: an order that knows its materials before it starts

In many factories the materials problem is found after production starts: an item is short and the line stops, or more is taken from the store than was recorded and nobody knows the real cost of the product. The reason is that production, the warehouse and purchasing each run in their own file.

The manufacturing sector in Intagya ERP puts the manufacturing order at the centre: needs are read from it, stock is issued against it and cost is worked out from it.

A bill of materials for every product

Each product has a bill of materials listing its components and quantities. When you create an order for twenty units, the system works out the materials needed and shows whether they are in stock, before the worker starts.

Production tied to sales and purchasing

The sales order shows what has to be produced, the purchase order brings in the missing materials, and stock updates with every move. Customer contracts and helpdesk tickets cover after-sales service, and accounting, payroll and attendance are in the same system.

FAQ
